The criteria for repairing stainless steel reaction vessels

Repair standards for stainless steel reaction vessels:
1. The weld seam should smoothly transition into the base material.
2. The undercut depth of the weld seam shall not exceed 0.5mm, and the length of the undercut connection shall not exceed 100mm.
3. The weld seam shall have no defects such as cracks, incomplete penetration, incomplete fusion, slag inclusion, or pores.
4. The slag on the weld seam and the debris on both sides should be thoroughly cleaned.
5. After repair, no cross weld seams shall be present. The longitudinal seams between adjacent tubes and the longitudinal seams between the head and the adjacent tube section should be staggered. The distance between them should be greater than three times the thickness of the cylinder and should be no less than 100mm.
6. The repair of weld seams should not exceed two times.
7. The raw materials for welding rods should be selected correctly. The welding rods and welding flux should be dried and taken out as needed. 8. After welding, the reactor body should undergo a hydraulic strength test.
